Site is good but the off-roading vehicles flying by all hours makes sleeping in a tent hard and mountain biking dangerous.
Awesome camp ground! Secluded and decent shade. Can't wait to go back
Great campground, it's usually full on the weekends but there aren't a lot of bugs and it's close to all the off-road trails
I had a great experience. We stayed over Memorial wknd for 3 nights. The ranger was really friendly and kept us informed of any issues or concerns in the area. Such as a rock slide blocking the road and barely 30min later let us know some helpful Jeep owners took care of the boulders. The bathrooms were clean for an outhouse w plenty of TP. The cost for the site was a lil steep I thot but they had free overflow parking after 2cars are paid for the site. Unfortunately, the women’s RR wouldn’t lock so many used the men’s but overall a great campsite.
It was off the beaten path, some sedans, Subaru to be exact, got stuck on the road. 4X4 or high clearance vehicles are recommended to go camping here. Dirt, mud, snow while we camped, and lots of potholes to get there. Bring your own tp!
But once there, quite beautiful.
