Great cabins and host. Would recommend to all I know

We are super happy with our experience staying at the Lakewood Cabins; it was such a cozy, personal and welcoming experience. We stayed in cabin 9, and it was very comfy and cute. The decor was very personalized and homey, and was stocked with anything we could need. It was a perfect retreat for two people. Jennie is such a great host and was very helpful and responsive. We were greeted by the on-site manager Dave when we arrived, and he was so friendly and helpful! He also built a bonfire outside at night which made it feel even more homey and welcoming. We had such a nice and relaxing trip here and would highly recommend the Lakewood Cabins to anyone looking for a Big Bear getaway!

My wife and I decided to stay at Lakewood Cabins because of the wonderful experience a year ago. This time, we were pleasantly surprised by its recent upgrades!!!

Lakewood Cabins is located within 5 min walk from the Village and the Lake. It is a hidden gem that offers great comforts and convenience for its price range. There are nine cabins, each one has its own personality, and equipped with newly installed hot water, AC and coffee/espresso machine.

David, the general manager, lives on the site to assist the guests. He is extremely resourceful and always fun to talk to. We are very grateful of many local attractions David recommended.

Whether you are a fanatic skier or come to big bear just to relax, if you are looking for a goodnight sleep, you have found the right place. I will definitely come back once skiing season starts.

Great location, so close to Woodland trail, Boulder Bay park and Castle Rock trail. And the Village is in walking distance but it’s so quiet here in the cabins! The Cabin is very clean and they use brand shampoo, dishwash and hand wash. We had a perfect getaway with the kids enjoying their s’mores. Love the peaceful night here and the hospitality from the host manager David!
