“I have a son that now is a 5th grader all past years all his teachers have been great the school has actually improved so much it does not look like a prison no more as it did years ago the new principal is great she's very nice traffic on the other hand is horrible especially on rainy days. They used to have the back gate open before but when the new principal came long she decided to not open it which I think it was not a good idea because now traffic after school it's really bad. Other than that I think this school is great great teachers great staff I have never had a problem in this school.”

“Kordyak Elementary School is one of the newest schools in the Fontana Unified School District. It's located just off Sierra Avenue in North Fontana, about a half mile from the 15 Freeway. Traffic along this portion of Sierra Avenue can be quite busy (and fast paced at the 55 mph speed limit) during commute hours with people trying to access the freeway, but since opening Tierra Vista Street, the school is more accessible. Lots of parents and care takers walk their children to/from school and there's a Crossing Guard on duty before/after school which definitely makes the area a safe route to school. School staff/administration really love the Kordyak students; there's a genuine positive vibe about the classroom and lots of fun teaching moments in the classrooms. The teachers have a wonderful collaborative relationship with the parents, both on and off campus. Meaning--Kordyak parents and teachers work together to make campus life a meaningfully positive learning experience and that carries over into the home as assigned homework is completed. This positive atmosphere makes for many happy childhood memories...Although it's been decades ago, I still remember many of my elementary school teachers!!”

“My third son attends French Creche and LOVES IT. My two older sons are currently enrolled at a beautiful Waldorf school and before that attended a variety of daycares and pre-schools both in LA and in Berkely , CA where they were born. I have seen every imaginable early childhood program, from cooperatives to ReggioEmilia, and nothing compares to the authentic affection my child receives at French Creche. Truly. Mate, the director and primary caregiver at French Creche, genuinely loves children. The delight in her eyes when each child arrives is special and unique. My son, Edward, is a year old and has been with Mate for 5 months. He is excited everyday. The little school itself isn't magical garden of ferns and fairies... and some of the other mothers (all first time mothers who are caught up in things that don't actually matter! lol) are concerned about there being no outdoor play area. While this is true and not ideal... it is both the place or the space that makes a child feel cherished and appreciated for who they are - IT IS THE PEOPLE. And Mate and Ms. B are the best. Ms. Barbara is the other caretake and she is a very special woman as well. Both Mate and Ms. B speak french fluently (I believe they are both from the Caribbean) and this is a major draw for international families. All this to say... I highly recommend French Creche to everyone. :) ”

“An awesome school! My daughter likes it very much especially her teacher Ms. Sedzmak. She's pretty, cool, and can explain things in details. For two weeks, my daughter has learn to accept this new environment-her second home away from home. As a parent, this is one important aspect to consider in choosing a school. And, I'm very happy and satisfied. Thank you for making my daughter feel comfortable. This is a school located in a huge lot area and since the first day of school, I've been seeing and observing how parents/relatives/caregivers drop off and pick up the children both in the morning and afternoon. It was cool but I think there's still more rooms for improvement. I hope the school will address this by adding more manpower such as staff or parent volunteers to oversee the outside campus. And, one more thing-for all parents to know the drop off and pick up procedures and so as to avoid confusion-the office should consider sending out memorandum about the dos and donts. There is one school I know which has the most effective way of releasing the children. I hope this will serve as guide to other schools. After all, our main concern is the safety and satisfaction of everyone. Upon addressing the issue above- this school will be one of the Best Schools in Etiwanda district. Congrats and more power!!! Way to go Falcon Ridge!!! For months now-I’ve been seeing how Falcon Ridge management is trying to provide the children and its community the BEST service possible. ???? A few days ago, cones were placed to address the double traffic routes in picking up and dropping off lanes. Awesome! However, I do wish that parents and other caregivers who pick up and drop off the children to do their parts accordingly - such as following the school’s signs located along the curbside. No one was paying attention on the “white” curbside that says “CHILDREN LOADING ZONE” as well as the “RED” curbside that says “FIRE ZONE - NO LOADING AND UNLOADING.” We, are all in a hurry-we wanted to go ahead due to our busy schedules but again, our children are watching us - let us not confuse them as to the meaning of “SIMPLE ROAD SIGNS” for our own enjoyment and satisfaction but, following simple regulations is one significant responsibility to show that we are “GOOD ROLE MODELS” to our children. Remember-if we, parents are watching our kids whether they’re doing the right thing-they are too!!! Moreover, it is scary to see children opening the gates by themselves and going straight to the vehicles parked closed to the gates. People walking everywhere without using the designated walkway. The school should look into this.”
