If you have any interest at all in Hesperia’s history this place is worth the visit. It’s small but is filled with many artifacts.
Griz, who is in charge, was so knowledgeable about the area. He enjoys his research and is a passionate individual about what he does.
Currently opened Mondays and Wednesday’s from 9 am - 1 pm. You can schedule a visit outside of those days and times if you have a group to at would like to visit.
Free entrance - there is a donation box near the guest sign in book.
Walked in without knowing what to expect. One of those places you pass every day and say “we should go there!” but never do.
So glad we finally stopped in.
The photos and artifacts are great, but Griz was able to really make it an over-the-top visit.
His passion for Hesperia’s history is unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere in the desert.
The wealth of information was very much appreciated, even to the casual “Joe Schmo” such as myself.
Can’t beat the entry price of $0. Donations accepted but not expected.
Highly recommend.
Awesome to visit. Higtly recommended
