Will Abell Memorial Trail at Arrowhead Ridge

Beautiful hike, but there are multiple trails branching off from the main one, and no markers to tell you where they go or what route to take for certain views. We hiked a 2.5mi loop around the mountainside and completely missed any views of the lake. Asked some other hikers who had been going there for years, and they were just as disoriented. Beautiful area, but needs improved information for hikers.

At the beginning of the trail you hear the traffic. Once you reach to the point where you can see the lake it is very peaceful. My husband and I did this hike on Sunday. We saw only 1 other couple on the trail. It is only 8 minutes away from Lake Arrowhead.

Beautiful trail with an amazing view. Moderate hiking. Is a great hike with small amounts of snow.

Great walk through beautiful scenery. A bit of traffic noise throughout. Would be helpful to have some signposting.

A 2 mile loop with about 500 ft climb and several good viewing locations if you go to the top of the ridge. The trail could be a bit better marked at some parts.
