Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Montclair

Group lessons are great fun and have a lot of energy, and you usually learn steps to 2 dances in a 1 hour session. In the private lessons you can work up to truly advanced patterns and styling.

I have been with Arthur Murray for about 20 years and have loved every minute of it. I have moved around to different studios but they are all wonderful. I have gained a whole new group of friends in the dance world. I have also learned to push myself and gained more body confidence through the years. It’s a place I can have fun doing one of the things I love doing, dance. My instructors have become my friends and confidants while still keeping a professional role. Looking forward to many more years with my dance family.

Arthur is incredible at what he does. I am SO grateful we had the opportunity to meet and learn from him! He was able to make me and my boyfriend (who's never danced before), feel so comfortable and confident, all while fully enjoying ourselves! At some point, I couldn't remember a more fun time I had with my boyfriend! Haha Just in our first class, we learned such great foundational movements and can't wait to return! Thank you Art- you're amazing!!!

Well.. it's our Anniversary and we booked a salsa lesson for 1pm. It's now 1:20 and no one has shown up yet. Our special day is not starting out how we envisioned it.. We made an appointment for this and it seems as though someone has forgotten about us.. This is not good customer service.

Started up lessons recently at the Arthur Murray in Montclair, and the lessons are well-worth it. All of the instructors are friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about every type of dance. After taking a few lessons with Adrianne, I feel like I have a much stronger foundation in my dancing skills, and the group lessons are a great way to learn more techniques and meet other dancers. I highly recommend this Arthur Murray for improving (or even starting) your dancing abilities!
