Just A Small Town Grill

Loved everything about this place. We happened to be in this fine establishment on a rainy day, and it was delightfully empty which is both good and bad. Bad because we couldn’t get the full vibe of this place, but good because we had their full attention. Thanks to the reviews I read, we ordered some fried pickles and we were not disappointed. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and their Nashville hot wings. Gosh I wish I would’ve gotten a picture to remember them by, but thankfully we have some leftover. The sauce on the pizza was just right (not too sweet, salty or herby), the crust was pretty great (not as doughy as i prefer but thats just perfectionism), and it was topped consistently and abundantly. The wings had some unique spices on them than any other wings I’ve ever had and dipped in the ranch, it’s like they were made for each other. The salad was just ok, but it’s a salad. We ordered a piece of chocolate mousse cake to go, so I’ll update later. The service was friendly, fast, and efficiently. The atmosphere was very cozy. Now on our list of favorites. Can’t believe it took us so long to try it.

Everyone here was really nice and the food was amazing. We got the Bacon Me Crazy burger with an extra patty and crinkle cut fries. We also got some apple pie to-go, but couldn't wait to try it. It was fantastic cold, and we're looking forward to getting it home to warm it up with some ice cream!

Food was absolutely amazing! Stopped in on our way to Joshua Tree and Just A Small Town Grill did not disappoint! You can really feel the familiarity between the staff and regulars and the portion sizes are perfect.

Amazing food! We had quite a variety, cheesy bread, tots, fried pickles, meat lovers pizza, Alfredo pizza, pesto pizza, fruit market salad, and Italian grinder and it was all amazing. You can taste the love they put into the food. Definitely worth all the hype!

Friend and I went for lunch on Memorial Day on our way back to Orange County from Joshua Tree National Park. Got there at around 12:30pm. Were seated immediately. Service was quick and friendly. I had the TNT kegs and the strawberry strudel cheesecake. Friend had the fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious. The kegs are pretty filling despite just being 4 in number. And the cheesecake slice is enough to share between 2 people. Total came to around 40$ including tips and taxes. The interior is also pretty well decorated, and we liked the atmosphere.
