Stendmar Modern Furniture

Like most people, we were very hesitant to buy something this expensive online with no way to try it before hand. But after a lot of research, we didn't find anything we like quite as much as this couch- so we decided to take a leap of faith based on all the reviews we read about them.

Here's my review:

1. Ordering online:
This was one of biggest discomfort areas. I have NEVER ordered any furniture online, much less a whole sectional. We found this couch on Amazon, however to give myself peace of mind, I called Stendmar directly and spoke with them multiple times throughout the weeks as I made my decision. Not once was I pressured to buy and my questions were answered honestly. In the end, I chose to buy with them directly- just because there was an option to buy various other things that would go with the couch (example: arm tea table- see pic attached)

(Delivery) See picture for how it was delivered. It was wrapped in multiple layers and reached me safe and sound.

2. Assembly: Not much assembly needed. We only had to screw on the legs, everything else came pre assembled.

3. Cushions: couch comes with cushions, so I didn't have to worry about finding the right cushions to complete the look

4. Size: It was the perfect size for our living room. It honestly fit much better than we expected. I used it as a sectional and used one of the corner sofas as a loveseat. The beauty of this set is that you can do whatever you want and combine it any which way possible.

5. Comfort: It's not a 'fall in' kinda couch. It's firm- it has give so it's very comfortable. We prefer firmer couches so we sought this out.

6. Customer service: Tina from stendmar was phenomenal and worked directly with me. She answered all my questions in details, got on a call with me as many times as I wanted, resolved any issues I had within a couple hours.

7. Overall aesthetic: I'm quite happy with how it looks, it's what I wanted. If you're going for a modern contemporary look- this is definitely a great couch for that. Would definitely recommend this couch and Stendmar to everyone.

I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest Stendmar worked with. There were many issues with the shipping companies they used (Because of the pandemic) but Tina assisted me throughout the whole process and always checked up on my shipment status. I can say Stendmar truly cares about their customers satisfaction and their service is definitely top notch. At the end, I’m very happy with my couch and I cannot thank Stendmar and Tina enough.
