Beautiful area to sightsee. Nice formations and colors of rocks to appreciate.
Nice drive through rainbow basin.
Aside from the 60+mph winds and rain, the camping here was pretty good. Bathrooms are well-kept and clean. No animals were seen, but a scorpion was crawling near the tent when we packed up. A few rattlesnakes were heard in the area behind the campground. And some crazy guy was yelling his lungs out at 11pm one night. Aside from that, it's a good campground if you want to get away from society for a bit.
This is where my grandfather and mother were spread. We used to always visit this place. It holds amazing memories for me and my siblings.
This is an amazing little natural wonder in the Mojave! Absolutely beautiful. Better suited for a more hardy vehicle, but most parts are well manicured sort roads well-suited for all vehicles.
