I just spoke with John on the phone about my 2013 F-150 radio and he was very polite and I will be sending my radio to him for repairs, all the way from NC to CA. First impression was outstanding :)
Local repair shop told me my amp was the problem of my radio cutting in and out. I found this business on ebay and sent it in for repair. A few days later he calls me and states the amp is in good working order. I told him over the phone the problem I was having and he pin pointed the problem to my rear entertainment system. I reinstalled the amp and disconnected my rear entertainment system and everything is PEFECT! Best part he only charged me $40! Professional honest company to deal with.
John!!!! You. Are. The. Best! I love you.
John fixed my factory radio on a 1989 Lincoln Town Car. Did not work AT ALL and tape stuck inside. 3 days later, BOOM! I'm jamming again.
Thank you again!!!
John REALLY knows his stuff. I had completely ran out of options on how to repair or replace the stock radio on my '93 Mustang. I wanted to keep my car completely original, but it was/is impossible to find a replacement New Old Stock (NOS) radio for less than $400. Found him by chance through a Google search after contacting JBL, Ford, Crutchfield and a number of parts warehouses that purchase old part stock from Ford and other manufacturers. John knew immediately that the problem, popping while adjusting the volume and a sound imbalance from the driver's versus passenger's side speakers, was from old capacitors that had broken down. He repaired the radio promptly and even did an in store demo with the radio. My 1993 Mustang interior is still all original. 5 stars to this Craftsman!
The owner knows what he's doing, excellent quality of work. Brought in a factory LS400 head unit and he cleanly added an aux jack to the face of the unit. Sound quality is at the same level as a CD so as good as the head unit can provide. It is muxed to the radio input, he somehow put a switch on it so anything plugged into the jack automatically disables the radio so the aux input works, as soon as you pull the plug the radio comes back to life. Cost of the service was well worth it.
