The Lost Cajun

I loved it! I came in and I guess my server could tell it was my first time. She brought me a sampler of the soups and rice plates. I ordered a cafe au lait, the lobster bisque, the shrimp pasta, a side of french fries, and some beignets. everything was good. actually, I don't recommend the fries. the French bread that comes with the soup and pasta was really good! I'd visit again.

Brought my friend here for her birthday because she likes spicy Cajun food and spicy Cajun food is not easy to find in these parts. We arrived around 3 PM and the place was pretty much empty, which worked out for us because our server was very attentive. We were presented with a little platter with little samples of their Cajun classics and gumbo (see pic) which I really appreciated because I was curious about them. Ultimately, I ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo along with hush puppies, and my friend ordered the fried fish platter, which normally comes with Swai but she upgraded to the catfish. I liked my Alfredo chicken, it had a nice little kick to it with Cajun spice mixed into the sauce, I would order it again and the hush puppies had a very nice blend of sweet and savory. My friend, asked for her catfish, to be “hard fried“ and they arrived perfectly crispy. We finished with a beignet, but sadly they were out of the praline stuffing that you can order with it. My friend had never had a beignet before and she didn’t care for it. I thought it was OK but it tastes just like funnel cake, I’m sure it would’ve been fantastic with the praline, it really does need more than just a dusting of powdered sugar. All in all both myself and my friend were very happy with the restaurant: it was clean, we had great service, and our main dishes had a really good flavor. We will both be back.

1st time here and will go back on my next Ontario CA trip. Fresh food, nice portions and pretty tasty! Had2 add that cajun seasoning to the pasta to enhance the flavor but aside from that pretty good. Luv hush puppies but not much of a fan of theirs. Warm welcome, very attentive host, great customer service and a very clean establishment.

Stopped in for dinner, I am from out of state

When I first walked in I did not know what to expect. This place is Amazing, very athentic Everything we ordered was so good! The atmosphere of the place was comfortable with some really cool pictures on the wall.

The service was fantastic, I will definitely be back when I'm back in town.
