“This is a lovely park with a nice playground for kids (2-5) and (5-12). There’s a community center, senior’s center and both covered and open sit-outs. Good green cover in many places. A walking/joggers track wraps around the north perimeter of the park, approx 1.2mi. At the center, there’s a thoughtful memorial to our veterans. As a bonus, you get a beautiful view of the mountains. The park closes at 6pm which is early for summer, and some folks are still around late into the evening.”

“Long wait, decent food, great servers. The servers kind of saved the whole meal and night. Things were pretty messy, as in tables that needed to be cleaned up and they were out of a lot of beers on tap. One pitcher of beer we did try was flat. After 4-5 tries of the waitress checking with the bar and coming back to tell us they were out, we finally ended with with Michelob Ultra. Not my favorite, but the table didn’t care at that point. Maybe short staffed? Definitely a place you would come back in a pinch, especially for the price but an hour wait for a table on a Monday night was a bit much. Once we were finally seated the food came and came and came, so all good there. For under $30 a person, it’s definitely worth a try. They also have take out options!”
