This place is to teach children to be a good person to help their families and society
The purpose of the Buddhist Youth Union is to train young Dong Nien to become true Buddhists, contributing to building a society in the spirit of Buddhism. The motto of the Buddhist Youth Union is "Bi Tri Dung" and the five precepts, which are the lights that illuminate the way for the Fatherland Front and the youth. The GDPT's living and studying program includes the following subjects: Buddha Dharma, Youth Activities - Camping, Specialization/General Knowledge, Vietnamese Language... a group of Youth Leaders is trained to:
- Know how to live in awareness, peace, harmony and sympathy.
- Improve self-confidence and self-reliance.
- Guide and encourage an upward, healthy life mentally as well as physically.
- Leadership and executive ability, creativity, sense of responsibility, self-sacrifice for others
- Develop communication with people in loving language and listening, contributing to building a happy, strong family and a good and peaceful society.
"Mind the average world average". Training a true Buddhist, knowing how to live happily for himself, in harmony in the family and the union, that is the brick to build a society in the spirit of Buddhism. The Leader, who understands the Organization's Ideals and Purpose, will put the Buddha Dharma on top of educating himself and the children.
