First experience at Mike's Automotive was today - 4/9/22 Saturday.
Mike (the owner) did a great job answering the phone and welcoming me in right before close. As soon as I got there, he listened to my problem and said ok, "let's go for a drive." I've been to a lot of shops, and never has someone said "let's go for a drive" within 5 minutes of me walking through the door. I appreciated that as it showed me that he wanted to put me in the driver's seat as well as get the repair done before close/ASAP. He fixed the backplate/dust guard of my brake rotor which was making an awful grinding noise. Mike was up front throughout the process, he explained his values, and a few things that he's learned over the years. He has great social cues, he built rapport, and steered the conversation without going on and on like some people do. I felt a strong sense of trust and that I was being treated like family. I'll return for an oil change, fingers crossed no earlier than that!

Great shop! Guys are real nice. They were able to fit me in for an alignment same day on short notice, and also for the best price around. I will continue to come to this shop for all my auto repair needs. Thanks again.

I came to mikes with a problem and they solved it. An honest mechanic who does good work and charges a fair price is really a wonderful thing.
