“THE BEST SKI AND BOARD RENTAL IN THE AREA I’ve been going to this ski and board rental for 8 YEARS. I have always have AMAZING customer service and the manager/owner has always been nice and caring. Plus the prices are so INEXPENSIVE, anyone can go skiing. The last time we came by, we rented our skis like usual and headed up to Mountain High. Unfortunately for us, we didn’t know that Mountain High Resort had changed management and enforced a strict policy that wouldn’t allow us to buy lift tickets the same day. (You needed to purchase the lift ticket 24 hours before hand on their website.) Obviously, we didn’t know about this since we’ve been going to Mountain High for those 8 years and don’t follow them on any of their social media accounts. Our only options were to buy day of tickets (4 hours at $79/person, 8 hours at $84/person). We didn’t plan to stay for 8 whole hours so we didn’t think it was worth it to get 4 hour tickets. So we headed down the mountain deflated. When we came back to the ski shop, we explained our story and the manager of McGrath’s Sky and Board Rental listened and acknowledged our issue. Without even asking for it, the manager gave us our refund! This is the only Ski Rental I ever go to because of the exceptional customer service, amazing products, and ridiculous competitive prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

“This is the only place in Wrightwood to get gas or diesel fuel. And it's the only convenience store in town. I stop here most every time I'm in Wrightwood. love the people and there's a bench out front. Sometimes I just sit and take a break to enjoy the nice small town feel , everyone who comes in says hi and how are you. The locals will stop and chat with you for awhile too.”
