This is a classic mid century desert motel. It is cinder block construction with a shed roof. It is covered in solar panels. The interior walls are white painted cinder blocks but there are newer, colorful southwestern style art, bedspreads, curtains etc. There is a small kitchen with 2 electric elements, microwave, fridge, sink, cooking and serving utensils, plates etc. Cooked 3 simple meals, turned out well. There's a back door off kitchen that opens to a clear area bordered by a hedge. Has a table and chairs for outdoor dining and there is a bbq available. Has a very clean and well maintained pool and spa. Area has amazing sunsets. If you like old architecture, comfort and quiet plus a kitchen, this is it, we loved it.
My wife and I were treated very nicely by Craig and Carlos. The room was clean and comfortable, the grounds were tidy, and everything was pleasant. Craig provided recommendations for local dining that were spot on. We'll be back and have already been telling friends. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!!!
Service was Excellent and over the top. If you come to Borrego Springs you should stay here. Rooms are clean and spacious. Cofy and cozy. We stayed in the pet friendly room with kitchenette. Had plenty of room. Thank you to Carlos and Craig for your help and generosity with our move to our forever home here. Whenever we have visitors we will definitely recommend this place to stay. Thank you Lisa , Eric and Gypsy
We've stayed at most of the small motels in Borrego Springs. This one is one of the least expensive. The rooms are tidy. The beds are comfortable. Kitchenettes are fairly well stocked for basic cooking. There are gas & charcoal BBQs available in the common areas & a smoker. Solid wifi. The pool & spa have nice views, but the pool is ice cold & the spa is just warm. All in all, a nice, comfortable place to stay at a comparatively low price.
Not bad. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was a bit dated, but functional. The biggest issue we had was the stove top unit didn't work very well so we didn't use it as much as planned. The area around it could have been a little cleaner. The door on the back of the unit opened up to an empty lot and we loved having coffee out there in the morning on the sunshine side. Excellent pool, and the hot tub under the stars was so relaxing.
