Our daughter has been going to La Costa Valley Preschool since she was just 2 years old, she is now 5 years old, so advanced and ready move to elementary school.
She loved it there! The teachers are all so caring and creative, it help any parent feel at ease leaving their child in preschool.
Our daughter always had so many news to tell us about her "busy" day: who was her friend today, what they learn at circle time, showed her artwork and crafts. And, of course, Field trips, community helpers visits gived her moments that she will remember for a long time.
I would recommend La Costa Valley Preschool & Kindergarten to any parent looking for a safe and friendly Preschool!
As a child development expert and a grandma, whose three out of four grandchildren attend the school at the present, I would like to take the time and tell everyone about this amazing program. For me the measure to a quality early childhood education program starts with the happiness and eagerness of the young children to come to school, see their teachers and friends, and be excited to learn. No doubt! Children are happy at the La Costa Valley Preschool and kindergarten programs. My grandchildren have remarkable teachers who provide them with the excitement to explore, ask questions, wonder, ponder and PLAY! La Costa Valley’s teachers and staff are highly trained to address the whole child and follow the child’s lead when planning their lessons. They value relationship-building and understand the importance of social-emotional foundation. The teachers help children learn and problem solve, understand their own emotions, be kind, develop empathy, read, write, recognize and manipulate numbers and shapes, inquire and investigate, draw, paint and create, dance and move. I love the school and I am very happy to see my grandchildren grow and flourish!

Our 3 grandchildren are attending La Costa Valley Preschool & Kindergarten for the last 3 years.
Our first grandson, Gabriel, is attending Kindergarten, and has been going to the school for the last 3 years. Our second grandson, Eli, is in the caterpillar class with Ms. Cindy for the last year and their cousin our granddaughter, Fiona, is starting to attend the preschool in March 2018.
As a CEO of an early childhood company, delibrainy LLC, I see a lot of different early childhood educational institutions and I can unequivocally state that La Costa Valley Preschool & Kindergarten is one of the best in the early childhood educational space in San Diego.
Our grandkids learn a lot. Our first grandson, Gabriel, can read fluently and can do basic math. With the help and guidance of the excellent team at La Costa Valley, my grandchildren have developed great social and emotional skills and are prepared to learn and advance.
La Costa Valley Preschool & Kindergarten is a top institution in early childhood education in San Diego. The team is superb, teachers are attentive, they listen to the children and accommodate their needs. The school utilized the most innovative teaching approaches and utilizing the best practices and best curricula across all ages.
Both of my boys (3 years old and 5 ½ years old) attend La Costa Valley Preschool and Kindergarten. My youngest is enrolled in the Caterpillar 2 class (this is his first year) and my oldest is enrolled in Kindergarten (this is his third year). Words cannot express the impact that La Costa Valley has had on my children. Both of my sons have grown so much both academically and emotionally. The social emotional learning environment that La Costa fosters emphasizing the importance of learning through play is like no other. My youngest looks forward to going to school and sings and tells me all about the fascinating things he is learning in Ms. Cindy's class. His speech has gotten clearer and he loves sharing and interacting with his friends. My oldest is in Kindergarten and has Ms. Joan. Ms. Joan is one of the most amazing teachers I have ever met. The small class size, her creativity and time she is able to dedicate to each child has helped my son flourish. His reading and writing surprise me each and every day. I feel confident that he will be more than ready for the 1st grade! I recommend this school to everyone I meet! It is truly a gem!
My son attended LCVPK from the time he was 3 and a half to almost six. So he was in Ms. April's class, Ms. Rita's class, Ms. Hope's class, and Ms. Joan's class. Every teacher was great and by the time Evan started kindergarten at ECC, he was well ahead of many of his classmates. He is in first grade now and i just attended a parent teacher conference and he is reading at a mid-second grade level. That is due to LCVPK! My daughter Charlotte had the same teachers Evan had--the teachers really stay awhile. She is currently in Ms. Joan's class and she just finished reading 100 books and she is barely 5 years old! I am sure she will also be way ahead when she starts kindergarten at ECC in the fall. Thanks LCVPK for the great education my kids received!
