Great dealer. It’s pretty hard to find a dealer that doesn’t nickel and dime you every step of the way. Even my previous favorite dealer disappointed me with a myriad of “dealer installed options” that they never used to force on you. This is what led me to Bob Baker. They were completely transparent and my salesman Derek was communicative and straightforward. I knew the price I was paying for my car before I arrived and everything was as promised. I even requested something that isn’t typical for dealers to do and Derek took extra time to ensure it was taken care of. I’m glad to have found a dealer that operates fairly and in good faith.

Cesar made my experience at Bob Baker Hyundai amazing. I had went to two other dealership prior (Poway & Escondido). Both of them quoted me ridiculous prices and waisted my time trying to sweet talk me into a ridiculously high car note. As soon as I got to Bob Baker Hyundai, Cesar was quick to approach me, and got straight down to the point. Instead of sweet talking a 21 year old, he treated me like any other customer. I told him what I was looking for and the price range I was trying to get to. He immediately began working to get me to where I wanted to be. In 3 years when my lease is up, I know exactly who I will be going to. Thank you guys again for making my car shopping experience so enjoyable!

Buying a car from this dealership was one of the best choices I've made. If I ever decide to buy a new vehicle I would definitely go back to Bob Baker, and would always go back to my amazing agent DEREK!!! He did not rush me, he did not try to convince me of anything I didn't want, he told me "I'm here to help you" and let me tell you, he helped me a lot! From getting the highest value for my trade in to getting me one of the best deals for a new vehicle!

(Other dealers were giving me almost half of what he managed to get me for my trade in, I was surprised).

To be honest, I feel I did most of the talking and questions, he was being honest with me and that's one of the many reasons why I bought from this dealership. I know that if it wasn't for him, I probably would've Just went to another dealer!

So this was one of the best choices I’ve made buying a vehicle; let me start by saying ask for DEREK FIRST!!!! He was understanding and patient and let me and my wife take our time purchasing a car. It was a comfortable buying experience, but I think his ability to understand exactly what my wife wanted which made the process go along just that much smoother, which was an A+. She absolutely loves her car.

I stopped in looking to get either a new vehicle or used with no real frame of mind as to what I wanted when I walked in the door. Derek was on top of it! He came over and greeted me before I even had a chance to look around and know what my options were. Not only did I feel heard, I felt understood. In the past I have had poor experiences when trying to buy a car as I felt like the only thing that mattered WAS making the sale irrespective of what was best for me at the end of the day. Derek is like no other salesman that I have had the pleasure of working with. He cares more about YOU as a customer than making a sale at the end of each day. That goes a long way in my book, personally, and is unheard of in the industry. He did everything to make sure I understood what was being asked/expected of me and even worked magic in financing to get me an amazing interest rate! I trust that Derek had MY best interests at heart rather than his own, and I don't know a single other person in the industry that I can say that about.
