Wonderful hike so close to home! Some climbing, lovely walking by the stream.
Really nice hike in the conservation area outside of San Marcos. We did the loop which was much better than the short out and back trail. The wildflowers were abundant and beautiful. The small waterfall was flowing and was very nice. The creek was full and the trail wasnt crowded. Definitely a morning hike as it gets hot.
Copper creek is a very good place for mountain biking and hiking. I went yesterday in search of some geocaches and had a fun time finding a few really creative ones. The trails are of high quality and great for riders/hikers of all skill levels.
Fun little hike that's close by. For a short trip stay on the creek trail. If you want a little more exercise, go up the hill. The mine remains are fun to check out.
The falls and surrounding hills are gorgeous after all the rain! Tons of wildflowers had the trail smelling amazing, and there were butterflies everywhere. One of my new favorite small hikes!
