Doulas of San Diego

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Doulas of San Diego for postpartum doula support. Kelly worked a miracle to arrange postpartum services super last minute as we moved to San Diego at the very end of my pregnancy and I am BEYOND grateful to her and her wonderful team. Having postpartum support after my c-section and more sleep truly made all the difference in the world for me-- physically, mentally, and emotionally. I know my recovery and early postpartum days would have been a totally different ballgame without the Doulas of San Diego. I would hands down choose them again and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone considering a postpartum doula!!

I cannot thank Doulas of San Diego (formerly North County) enough for their role in my pregnancy and postpartum journey. As a first time mom, their support was invaluable!! From my first consultation with Kelly to my final postpartum overnight shift, my experience was 10/10. Every meeting, class (Birth 101 with Madison and Noa!), resource, text conversation, etc. were incredibly informative and helped me go from anxious and unsure of myself to confident and well-prepared for labor! Working with my amazing birth and postpartum doula, Alex, was like having a highly trained best friend by my side during the most vulnerable moments of my life. My husband and I trusted her implicitly and she taught me how to trust myself and my body during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. The whole experience was a dream! After my baby was born, having Alex, Brittany, and Jannelly support our family during overnight shifts was truly invaluable. Being able to get an 8-hour stretch of sleep 2-3 times a week in the newborn trenches made the world of a difference on my mental and physical health. It was hands down the best investment I ever made! If only I could keep them forever

The Doulas of North County have truly exceeded our expectations of what Doula services they offer! From all the courses, communication, groups and support we felt as ready as we could be to welcome our little girl into the world! All the knowledge and support guided us through the Birth that we envisioned and we are forever grateful! Madison was a god send and without her our labor and delivery could have ended very differently! Her patience, kindness, knowledge, love and support means the world to our family! I couldn’t recommend Doulas of North County more!! Kelly and her team are absolutely fantastic. Through every step of our complicated journey, Kelly and her team were there to support us, staying flexible and agile, while treating us with the utmost compassion, empathy, and care. During my postpartum recovery with doula support, my husband and I kept saying how every family needs Doulas of North County, and that truly was the purpose that each doula lived and worked behind- a mission to support moms and their babies with the best care. In our home we always felt so comfortable with doulas of north country and in parting ways at the end of our contract we felt we truly had friends and a village encouraging us as new parents. I will be passing along this wonderful business to all my expecting mom friends and more. It would truly be a disservice not to! If you are thinking about it and you read this comment, DO IT, invest in it. It’s more than worth it!!
