  I have been coming to Pistachio’s since 2018 and every time I come I am greeted with warmth and kindness. The salon itself is following protocols absolutely to the T. My stylist Jordan has become a great friend and I have been able to grow my hair long for the first time as a blonde because of him highly highly recommend. If you’re looking for an amazing Aveda salon in the Carlsbad or San Diego area you have to stop in at Pistachio‘s it is a home away from home.

  These very talented artists take very good care of my hair and me. I’ve been trusting them with my waist length hair for years. I tried the other Aveda salon in town and was very disappointed. I’ll never go anywhere else but Pistacio again.

  I’ve gone here since I moved to California this past summer, and I love going. Everyone is super friendly; the prices are reasonable; the perks packages are great. I get my hair cut and colored by Christina, and she always listens to what I want and what I’m looking for, and I have yet to be disappointed. I always walk out happy!

  Wonderful experience! What a surprise! I came in for a root touch up and the stylist made sure to get a second opinion from her colleague. Then she took extra steps to make sure that my color would last longer as I have color resist gray. The best part was the shampoo where she gave me a great head massage and hand massage! The icing on the cake was styling my hair as I wanted even though I did not get a hair cut. I highly recommend this salon!

  I have been getting my hair cut and colored at pistachio since 2010 and I absolutely love my color and cut each time. Lucy is an experienced professional who leads by example. I can honestly say that I would trust any of the stylist there to dye and cut my hair. What really sold me on pistachio back in 2010 was that she listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy with the end result. I’m someone who has a round face and enjoys layers but when they are done wrong they accentuate the roundness of your face and that’s what stylist have always done until coming here. It’s the first place I can say that gave me a haircut that I love and that’s why I kept coming back. Besides their professionalism I enjoy the environment. Everyone here is welcoming, they get to know you and they help each other out in order to ensure the customer is always happy.

  The best salon in North County! I’ve tried several salons in my life but am done looking... the entire team is trained with the latest and best techniques, and the team members know how to look at your current hair texture and your skin tone to come up with the most flattering look for each individual. Ever since coming here I get comments about my hair and how great it looks. They also help teach you the best ways to style your hair based on the cut they give, so that after you go home you can recreate the look they created for you in their studio. Top notch quality cuts and color, will never go anywhere else!
