Highland Preschool

Both of my children have attended Highland and I have been so appreciative of the education they’ve received. All of the educators at the school truly care and it shows. Both of my children have a love of learning and I believe the foundation of this was created at Highland. The expertise, compassion and patience of the staff have been consistent over the years. We feel so lucky to have found this school and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Highland Preschool has been an amazing experience for both our daughter and ourselves. We researched and visited multiple preschools before deciding on Highland.

They have a true carefree and experience driven philosophy that empowers each kid to create & make their own Devi and adventures on a daily basis! The educators are absolutely outstanding!

We would highly recommend visiting Highland Preschool and enrolling for the most robust child experience in North County!

Our son was in a different preschool a couple days a week and we noticed it wasn’t serving him. He was about 2 when we realized he needed a change. He didn’t love large groups and had a hard time communicating with friends due to a speech delay. He was getting left out of activities because of this.
We knew we needed a smaller class size and an empathetic approach from the teachers. A place that really cared about each individual child and had the resources to give to each child.
We found Highland and did the tour. I loved their philosophy and everything I saw. Our son thrived there! Some of the concerns we had while he was in the previous daycare were non-existent at highland. He felt safe and comfortable. He made friends and even with a speech delay the staff was sensitive to it and helped him along the way.
I also love knowing he is outside as much as possible in their natural space, exploring like a little kid should.
We love highland and are so thankful we found them for our son.

We are so happy we stumbled upon Homeroom Hourly Care 2 years ago when we first moved here looking for childcare for a few hours. We met Miss Cassie and liked how the place is very warm, safe and inviting for my 4 year old to enjoy all the different toys, pet animals, creative arts and crafts, some outdoor and indoor activities. My son, the shy one, grew to trust Miss Cassie. She has a way of understanding the way a kid might think or act to gain trust. Whenever my son's school had to close for teacher work days, extended holidays/weeks off (Christmas or Spring Break) and we still have to work, Homeroom stepped in to supplement childcare for me. I never worry about trying to find random folks to watch my kid anymore; Homeroom was always available. Cassie is very responsive to text whenever I need to ask for childcare on a last minute notice. My son feels safe and considers it his second home away from home. We will truly miss Homeroom when we relocate back to the east coast. Homeroom was a godsend when we moved here.

Homeroom is my 3 year old daughters favorite Daycare to go to. She absolutely loves coming here! Ms. Cassie is the best and she really cares a lot about the kids she's taking care of. She has always been very understanding and accommodating to fluctuating schedules and changes in plans. Very fast responses to phone calls and text messages so that you can make quick plans when you need to. It's a very clean, safe, & comfortable place to take your kids to.

Most importantly it's a Daycare you can trust.
