Marisol Carlsbad Apartments

Honestly living here was so amazing. It was worth it. Very quiet and peaceful. I walked all the time and the gym is unreal. The pool and amenities were beautiful! They did events and give rewards on this app for like gift cards. Niki, Adam and Brittany were so amazing ! I loved them. The maintenance team was also really amazing. They did a lot but still fast. Miss you guys!

Wonderful resort style complex, with modern furnished apartments, great ammenities (game room, gym, great pool landscape, Co-Working spaces and much more) and a great location.

UPDATE: Upon request, management decreased the rent increase from 42.8% to 26.8%. I appreciated them taking a rational, customer service-oriented approach to the matter. Due to its amenities and proximity to a nature preserve, Marisol is more expensive than other complexes in San Diego County. But given the post-pandemic inflation, their prices are on par with comparable complexes. In other words, you get what you pay for.

Rent increases:

Year 1: 9.5%

Year 2: 42.8%

My husband and I have decided to relocate to San Diego. We have settled on Carlsbad. Our move takes place in September. Such a beautiful place. It blew us away. Kelli was so helpful and patient with us doing the first portion of our application. I was losing it, but she was calm and helped with step by step. The property is new yes, but the staff makes a place. The staff here is outstanding. Love the demographics, and the surrounding area it offers. The location seems ideal for us. Retirement is going to be much to our liking at Marisol. In 6 weeks we will be home. Once again, thank you Marisol, and we are looking forward to making you our new home.

Arlene Guthrie is truly wonderful! She is very knowledgeable, informative, and cheery. She always provides plenty of time for us to ask our many questions, offers excellent insights, and proactively offers very helpful guidance and support which has made our cross-country move to Carlsbad as smooth as possible. We have now been in Carlsbad for 2 weeks and Arlene has been an amazing resource. We first met Arlene while we were still looking into rental options in California. The Marisol website is great, but Arlene's graciousness and enthusiasm helped cement our decision to move here.
