Absolutely stunning scenery. The rocky shore makes for amazing sounds to just sit there, close your eyes, and relax. This is the sound that should be put in sound machines!

Clean beach, plenty of waves, not many people. Great spot if you want to be semi-secluded, although you will easily be within eyesight of others so keep that in mind.
No shade here so definitely bring a hat and maybe a parasol if you plan to be on t here for a while.
No parking cost but make sure you park somewhere that isn’t blocked by a sign.

I don’t like that state employees drive on beaches. Makes it feel trashy, especially since it’s only state employees that are allowed to do so (per the unwritten rules of California Government Corruption, which state that only the governments should be free to access public lands)
