“I can not say enough wonderful things about Parkhurst Preschool/Daycare. I had a hard time finding a preschool/day care that I felt comfortable with and the moment I went to Parkhurst, I knew I found the perfect place. The care that the owners give my children is second to none. They treat us like family and it is obvious how much care they give all the kids at the school and my kids love attending here. Between the amazing meals they serve to the kids, the time the devote to teaching the kids, crafts and outdoor playtime, this is the perfect place! The school is a clean safe environment both inside and out. I feel so lucky that I found Parkhurst because I know the type of attention and care they are receiving. I can not say enough positive things about it the day care. I would recommend this preschool/daycare to all our friends and family. ”

“I had a great experience with this site. I just put in my zip code and had easily about 100 nannies pop up in my area. I could view their profiles with references etc. I was able to make my search more specific which was great. I ended up interviewing about 6 nannies that were all experienced and most already had background checks. I hired a lady that has actual babysat for my friend. Small world. Anyways, it's a great way to find a nanny or sitter. Very affordable.”

“I honestly had a great experience at this school even with all the difficulties that it had my freshman year, since it had just opened. While, I did find the course load to be a lot to handle and the trimester system to be fast paced, in the end I think it prepared me for the rest of life. I am currently in college and had this school not been as rigorous as it is, I would have found the first semester of my freshman year to be a lot harder for me. Another reason I enjoyed this school and still continue to enjoy it is because you really get to know everyone and your teachers. When I have free time I still like to say hi to everyone and see what is going on. If you want to go to a school that will prepare you for the rest of your life and that you will not just be a number in, then I recommend going to Sage Creek.”

“Our son has been going here for 2 years. He is 3 1/2 now. He comes home and tells us about the continents, what month it is, what season we are in, he can count to 30...it's remarkable what he is learning! I feel he is safe with Sadaf (and her husband when he is there). It would be great if they were able to retain staff better, but sometimes that is out of your control, especially in a small setting like that. I do wish the food they served was higher quality/less junk, but to be fair we could make our son's own lunch and we choose not to, so it's really on us. But overall we have had a great experience there, and it's much less expensive than most daycare/preschools in the area but you are still providing your child with high quality care and teachings.”

“Toddler care, PRE-K, and Kindergarten excellent. My children had attended this school since 18 months. Upfront, the price of child care is hefty for the average family, but having toured many facilities and educational programs (Montesorri, Waldorf, etc) the value and quality of education is second to none in the area. The security is excellent. Cleanliness is exceptional. Focus towards teaching children reading, writing, and basic skills is wonderful. Miss Gay in the TK/K program is exceptional. Our daughter has learned so much from her and has set a joyful foundation for how learning can be fun, social, and purposeful for little kids about to enter formal learning. We thank the stars for her. I do wish there was a greater sense of community among the parents and teachers. I am friendly with all, but would have liked to get to know them more - maybe spotlight the teacher's in emails or have mixers for parents and teachers. However, this doesn't take away from the professional manner the teachers compose themselves or the fact that there are practically three people running the school and they're doing a great job at doing this monumental task. Kudos! I have personally made some great parent friends at this school. I'm grateful for that. I am going to miss what the school offers when my kids transition to primary school. Letting go of your babies is a personally hard thing to do, but it feels good and worth it when they're going into good hands. I never worried about my kids at the Goddard School and would recommend it to anyone who wants their children in a structured, safe, and nurturing environment. My kids loved their teachers and always talked about them at home. That's a good thing! Best wishes...”

I was a stay at home mom for over 2 years and am often described as a “helicopter mom.” I wanted to get back into the workforce but none of the childcare care options were up to our family’s standards. When we found Carlsbad Country Day we were so excited! We had big expectations and they’ve exceeded all of them. “I cannot say enough nice things about Building Blocks Daycare. My daughter was with Jamie and Eric for almost a year and we were so grateful for the excellent care they provided. Things I LOVED about the Building Blocks: The intimate setting of the extended Daycare to their home. Small number of kids. Jamie and Eric are the business owners and are also the sole caregivers. I think this is an important distinction as they have an vested interest in how it is run, compared with larger daycare that have hired help. The socialization of our daughter had a positive impact on her confidence with other kids. Jamie and Eric are incredibly thoughtful and caring individuals. They communicated necessities and checked in with us on all things. Our daughter was visibly happy to be there! They take a ton of pictures and I appreciate the daily log of food, sleep and diapers. I would highly recommend this daycare. You will not regret it!”

“Best instruction around if you want your children to learn to swim. Clean pool with only one small class of 4 in session at a time. The quiet environment allows for better concentration and the kids are never cold as the pool is kept up to 90 degrees. This school has been around since 1971 amd there is something to be said about keeping it simple. Avoid the crowds and noise and take your kids here.”
