  Finding a great caterer with delicious food has always been a daunting task for me. Luckily, Chef Bob at Coronado Catering made the entire process simple and easy, and surprisingly, rather enjoyable. I was given a blank slate of party expectations and was rather nervous about coming up with something great that everyone could enjoy. Thankfully, Bob stepped in and shared some amazing ideas. We ended up booking him two nights in a row, and both nights ended up being equally unique and delicious. I was hesitant at first, but have trouble saying no to seafood, and trusted Bob with his famous Seafood Paella. It was absolutely delicious. Preparing the meal was a show in and of itself, and our guests were truly impressed by the presentation and care that went into the dish. We had about 40 people that evening, and Chef Bob made sure that everyone got at least one piece of lobster, clams, scallops, mussels, shrimp, and oysters. He even made a separate smaller Paella for those allergic to shellfish. It was an unbelievable dish and everyone went back for seconds. The birthday girl preferred Crème brûlée to cake, so Chef Bob and team prepared over 40 individual Crème brûlées that evening, with a Macaron on the side which was a very nice touch. I have never been able to customize a meal at such a large scale before. The Coronado Catering team is made up of amazing individuals that clearly love what they do, and we truly enjoyed working with all of them. Thank you Chef Bob!

  I recently hired Bob Johnson from Coronado Catering to cater my business event. Bob was wonderful to work with, shared his creative ideas to accommodate the theme and style of my event, and was very professional during the group networking.
  
  I felt like a guest at my own event because Bob made it so easy, kept restocking the food that people had eaten, and continually cleaned up the area.   Chef Bob Johnson from Coronado Catering catered this beautiful and delicious event in Solana Beach I attended a few months back. The event was for Book Launch Gala Celebration. Bob's integrity, creativity and professional service is highly recommended by many. He does corporate catering, wedding catering, party catering, and he will even come to your home to cater a football pool party celebration!
