(April 27, 2019, 12:12 pm)The gold glittered sand makes this the most beautiful beach I've ever been too. Best to go during the week if you want a more quiet experience. Can get busy on the weekends.

(April 24, 2019, 7:11 pm)This easy-to-access dog-friendly beach sits right next to the Navy lodge. It's got soft sands and plenty of space to play. Parking can be tight, so be prepared for short hike. This place is definitely a daily stop for dog lovers!

(April 23, 2019, 9:57 am)It's clean and not too busy. The best is that it's fenced along two sides, so there's only one way in and out. Great for owners who are nervous to let their dog off leash for the first time at the beach.

(April 6, 2019, 1:18 am)We rode bikes along the street right next to the beach. It was busy on the beach but not overcrowded. Everyone was considerate and the beach was clean. The ocean view is beautiful as well. Because it's right next to the Navy base, we got the chance to see some really awesome ships coming in.

(March 31, 2019, 1:33 pm)After taking the ferry across from Downtown San Diego, we searched Coronado hot spots. This beach came up as one of the top places to watch the sunset. It definitely did not disappoint! The beach is very clean for one that allows dogs and the sunset was absolutely magnificent. You can see mountains in the distance, there's not much going on skyline wise but it's so peaceful - who cares?
