“It was around 3:00 on Friday my husband and I went to the Taste of Thai restaurant, in Del Mar. The meal was great, clean, healthy and not greasy! I had a Whole Fish quick-fried with garlic sauce, steamed jasmine rice and vegetables. My husband had Savory Duck - half duck topped with peas, carrots, broccoli and squash in garlic sauce, with steamed jasmine rice. To drink we both had Thai Iced Tea. We have enjoyed eating at this restaurant for a couple of years and things never change. We've always had friendly and professional service, beautiful decor, plenty of parking ... nothing at all to complain about.”

“I have been coming to do my hair at Allure Hair and Makeup since they've opened in Del Mar, and I absolutely love this place! I found the stylists to be professional and very knowledgeable in hair styling. This is not your typical dry bar, the service is very consistent, detailed and I found the stylists to be very experienced. The owner is always there and made sure I was satisfied each time. The atmosphere is a big plus! The salon is modern and stylish, and customers are greeted with coffee, tea, and even champagne. The perfect spot for a weekly blowout, girl's get-together or even bachelorette party! Highly recommend.”

“In a nutshell: excellent espresso (consistently) served by somewhat reserved but still helpful employees. I'm not really certain what the deal is at Pannikin on Via De La Valley in Del Mar. The atmosphere of the place is nice, and the prices are right for a good cup of espresso, but the staff seem a little on the snooty side. They're willing to efficiently produce a cup of tasty espresso (probably my overall favorite hot soy mocha in the Greater San Diego area), but that's just it, they're just "willing," not enthusiastic. You know how occasionally you'll go into one of those Starbucks and you feel like you've made the employee's day just by showing up to order a latte or mocha? Yeah, you don't get that feeling here. You get more of the feeling like "we'll help you, but only as much as we have to." I don't know about you, but that attitude annoys me. Being a barista isn't a hard labor camp in Siberia, so don't act so tortured and put upon by your job (please!).”

“I'd choose this car wash over all the fast pace large commercial car washes on the street any day. They take their time and really make sure to clean every inch of your car with car and precision. Would recommend to anyone who cares about their car and how it looks. The best part is for a regular sedan a carefully done hand wash for both interior and exterior is only $35 !!! Definitely coming back for my regular car washes. My bmw 528i looks amazing !”
