As an East Coast Foodie (we live in Alexandria, VA.) we've made 3 cross country trips to Manna in the last 8 months and each time our taste buds are jumping for joy as they experience new and delicious flavors. Recently, we tried several of their spirit free cocktails and the bean coffee was refreshing and has a nice coffee note on the back end. I've enjoyed the french toast a couple of times and it is by far the best that I've ever tasted. Our server Jay was very knowledgable and is on top of his game. Well done Manna and we are looking forward to our next cross country dining experience with you.
If I could give a 10/10 (I guess that’s the same as a 5/5) for the Manna team, I would. The staff was so damn friendly and welcoming. Our server Jay walked us although the menu and helped us with recommendations and suggestions. The food was OUTSTANDING. We chose to go family style so we could all try a little bit of everything and it was all to die for.
Manna is exactly what you want your neighborhood eatery to feel like— warm, welcoming and friendly, delicious and memorable.
Thank you Jay and team, I can’t wait to come back!
I think today will be remembered so happily with these foods. Michelin-starcef Andrew seems to have a philosophy in the food that is filled with sincerity, one by one. It's always new because the menu is not limited and there is a seasonal menu. The seasonal menu, which was served with figs last month and persimmons this time, was also very delicious. The french toast is matured, not just bread, so it tastes deep and doesn't just taste sweet and salty. The explanation was so good to the manager who served the food, and the food tastes better if you know the food and eat it. Another menu at this restaurant, Bossam, is famous for its taste because we are Asian. It's a great taste without missing anything. We wanted to express our gratitude to the people we work with Andrew, so we went to say hello and took a picture together. What's really impressive is that I know the taste better than anyone else. I don't know if it's persimmons that are hung from the kitchen to dry. I think it's sincere about the ingredients. I have respect for Sef Andrew. It was so nice to have a great time and food with a friend from Germany. I think I will go often with my friends in the future.
This is one of those very few places that you can’t go wrong with anything you order. The staff is not only knowledgeable but excited to share about each and every dish. Chef Bachelier did a phenomenal job creating this menu. Even the kids plate is a true French omelette!
Had an absolutely divine brunch here while visiting Southern California. The menu is so fun and unique, we ended up just going with what the waiter / my brother and his girlfriend suggested because it all looked so good. The hamachi crudo with melon was an incredible combination of tastes and textures. The fish was so fresh and the melon was refreshing and cool. The ricotta toast (can’t remember the exact loaf - it was part of the pastry selection) was INCREDIBLE - all of their baked goods looked great but Im so glad we went with this one. The stone fruit and tomato was absolutely stunning and so so good. Such a simple combination of flavors executed in a perfect way.
Overall an incredible spot with an amazing atmosphere (loved the intimate patio seating), unique and original food, and lovely service. 10/10 !!
