Since my unpleasant experience with Herman Cook Volkswagen after purchasing my VW Touareg, I have been relying on Hugo's for all repairs. They have proven to be highly reliable, with excellent knowledge and expertise, and their pricing is very reasonable
My first visit to Herman Cook Volkswagen's service center was a frustrating experience. They misdiagnosed the issue with my cornering lights and tried to charge me $1K for replacing both controllers, when all that was needed was a bulb replacement. In addition, the oil change and tire rotation took over 3.5 hours, which was highly inconvenient. To add to my frustration, the driveshaft malfunctioned after driving only 30 miles post-Herman Cook service(not even half the life of that part). Given their track record and my experience, I don't believe this was a coincidence.

Fortunately, I discovered Hugo's and have never looked back. They were able to fix the issue for half the price using an OEM part, and it's been 55K miles since then with no issues. Their service is fantastic, and I always recommend them to my friends who own VWs. I highly advise staying away from Herman Cook and any other VW dealership services, as they are likely to misled and overcharge you. Hugo's, on the other hand, offers fair prices and excellent service across the board.

I had brought my VW into a shop down the street (won’t mention any names ) for a small oil leak. They came back with a laundry list of problems , with an estimate well over 10k … thank God i decided to check out Hugo’s for a second opinion. It turns out that literally NONE of the issues that the other shop pointed out were causing the problem, and all were unnecessary to fix.
Hugo’s mechanics found the real issue (oil pan) and completed the repair , plus a sensor for less than 1/10th of the price. They definitely won my business for all car repairs for myself and entire family. Thanks again!

I have had my BMWS serviced ONLY at Hugo's since 2014. Adrian, the front desk manager, has the voice and demeanor of a late night radio DJ - so calming and friendly. Rick and his team are great. Recently, I went in for an oil change just because it was "time" and they told me I didn't need it because I only drove 3600 miles on the car since the last oil change. I didn't notice that and wouldn't have told the difference if they went ahead and did the oil change, but that's how they are; honest and forthright. They spent 40 minutes looking at the car, topped off the oil, and sent me on my way.

Then, I had a weird, "woo-woo-woo" sound when I drove for several months. I thought maybe it was the tread of my tires or the top of the convertible not attaching properly. Fortunately, one day, my motor was sputtering because it needed spark plugs so I had it towed in for that. They fixed it and test drove the car and discovered the worn wheel bearings and urgently advised me to have them replaced. I had had a tire completely detach from an axel while driving almost 20 years ago from the same problem. It's a scary experience that I never forgot. I knew what they were worried about my safety when they told me about it; I could hear it in Adrian's voice. When I got my car back, it drove silently and was better than ever. The repair wasn't expensive at all. Very reasonably priced. I still feel emotional because I know that them catching this saved my life.

I've had random electrical problems that they looked at for no charge. The help me find find people who can fix the things they can't ( replacing convertible top strings, etc.).

I always recommend Hugo's and the team to BMW and European car lovers. It's not just about having a car that runs and gets you from point A to point B. It's about getting through life safely and comfortably. I can tell they take this job seriously and care about their customers and building long term customer loyalty.

Thank you Rick, Adrian, and team!! Our family loves and appreciates you!

I’ve been going to Hugos for almost 20 years now. Rick and Co. are always honest and straightforward about what your car needs and doesn’t need. Recently my wife’s car needed service. We had been going to the dealer because the car was under warranty. Unfortunately that ended but going back to Hugos saved us over $400 vs the dealer between savings and items not needed. Happy to be able to take our BMW to this fine establishment again!
