Bought a VW Rabbit for my daughter here. Got it for a great price. The owner was very nice & super helpful. I was really appreciative for all he did. My only complaint (thus the 4 star rating) is that the car was not registered when we bought it so we had to pay the DMV penalty for that when we bought the car. I just wish that had been explained to us up front. But our overall experience was positive. Thank you!

ETA: The registration expired in May, not July as the sticker on the car indicated. I realized this when I received the registration from the DMV. I went back & looked at the paperwork and I actually was charged a penalty for the expired registration in that total of $176. I had to call the DMV and have them mail me a new sticker for the car with the correct month.

This was by far the best used car buying experience imaginable. I was searching for a car for my teenage daughter and I found a 2011 Sentra on Craigslist’s list with 114K miles being offered by the Arteen Dealership for $3880. The Kelly Blue Book states a dealer should sell this car for $6000 so Arteen’s price was $2120 under KBB. I figured a little of that was because of the miles, although it really wasn’t too high of miles for an 8 year old car. When I arrived Arteen told me the prices are low because they deal in volume and like to move cars quickly. The car was clean inside and out. I asked if we could take it for a test drive (this is where it gets fun!). Arteen said do you want me to come with you or do you want to go alone? To which I was a bit dumbfounded as I never before was offered a solo test drive; Arteen suggested I go by myself. I said great and that I would just go on the freeway and then bring it back. Arteen said you can drive to Temecula if you want, but try to be back in an hour – that’s right an hour solo test drive. I realized my auto shop was nearby and asked if it was alright if I took it there to be checked out and Arteen said no problem. My mechanic performed diagnostic scans and put it on the lift and found the car to 100% problem free. So, I paid the asking price as I couldn’t even imagine haggling at that price. Then when the deal was done I was going go to Rancho Bernardo to get my wife and come back and get the car, but Ben insisted on driving the car to my house and have Arteen bring him back to their lot. AMAZING!!!! The bottom line is these are 2 of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet who get good value cars and mark them up with the profit they need to make and then try to sell them quickly at that price. If they have a car you like just go there and check it out. They are not going to pressure you because they know they have great cars and they sell them quickly.
Lastly, in my experience everything stated in the negative review here was completely false. I can only surmise that this was posted by a competitor.

I found the place by accident. I was looking to buy a first car for my daughter. They gave me great service. Its a small dealership.... so I recieved undivided attention. I went home with a great car at a good price. We now have had the car over 6 months and have drove over 8,000 trouble free miles. I would recommend this place. Thats why I am leaving a review after the initial purchase. The car worked out great for our family.

I was in the market for a sedan and I was skeptical to buy from a dealership. Arteen and Ben(Son and Father) blew away my expectations. Over the top service, low prices, cars that run excellent. I have had no problems at all with my car so far. They even got my other car detailed for me at a half off rate. They offered to let me buy parts through them which is a lot more affordable than buying it by myself. I would recommend anybody who is in the market for an excellent budget friendly car to go to Ben and Arteen.

I found a minivan on Craigslist sold by Arteen. They sell used cars so I had to do my homework. I found one negative review about them amongst a few positives. I had the reviews complaint in mind when I decided to check out the van. After meeting Arteen and Ben, I found that they were both friendly and honest and opposite of their negative description in one bad review. There were about a dozen cars on the lot. I checked out a few and found that there were no ridiculous markups or half price sale gimmicks. I was in the market for a used mini-van and end up buying from them. The price was good (although I haggled it a little). My wife joined me to pickup the car a couple of days later and they even offered dinner. After a few days driving the mini van around, it's a solid vehicle. I'm glad we bought the minivan. If you're in the market for a affordable daily work commute vehicle or a family ride, check them out.
