Needle & Thrive

I suffered for 2 years for lower back pain and mussels spasms in my legs. Sometimes I even could not walk and all day long I was thinking about how to make one single step without expiring severe pain. First treatment I got 1 year ago in East - West Institute in Torrance. They helped a lot. But pain was not gone completely and I was advised to start a new treatment. We moved from LA to San Diego county, and I started my treatment with Dr. Steven Murray. He is amassing ! After 9 sessions I have HUGE improvement and I can enjoy my life again. Simultaneously I started a Physical Therapy. I believe that both treatments will return me to my normal life. Thank you Steven VERY MUCH!!! You help a lot of people and I wish you to be healthy as well.

I have been being treated by Steven since 11/19, I wouldn’t be able to function without him. His knowledge, technique and ethics are incredible. My husband and daughter are also clients of his. He treats a plethora of injuries and ailments between the three of us. Our daughter was diagnosed with frozen shoulder and has had several injections and was facing surgery. She’s been being treated by Steven for a couple of months and is back to being able to use her shoulder. Paddle boarding, swimming and lifting to name a few activities. I have referred several folks to him and all are beyond satisfied. None of us know what we would do without him. For me I can’t wait to get to my appointment, I’d go everyday if I could. I can text him with questions about anything including products I’d like to try and he’ll spend time researching to help me find an answer. I too have had tests and seen doctors without any results or answers, leaving their office feeling defeated. In reading the other posts I’d like to address one in particular. In my opinion there is no way Steven could have caused a knee injury treating a low back problem. I have had him treat my low back and my knees are far from involved in any needle,
cup, moxa or stretch. I have had acupuncture by another and nothing compares to him. I highly recommend him to anyone in pain or feeling ill.

I started to see Steven when western medicine couldn’t offer me any answers. I was sick every time I ate. I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy with nothing showing up on my charts. I was lethargic and sick most of the time, as a mother to young children it really affected my family. I had a consultation with Steven and he talked to me a lot about gut health. He also recommended a Chinese herb tea by DOA Labs. I found an awesome probiotic and get acupuncture every three weeks. It’s been a year, and I’ve never felt better! He has so much knowledge on gut health, herbs, and I even started intermittent fasting after he told me his success with it. I’ve lost the baby weight just by making these life changes, they are so easy to incorporate for me, and 100% worth it for how great I feel!

When I was told by my doctor I would need surgery on my shoulder from a cross fit injury, I went to see Dr. Murray for a second opinion. After a single appointment I could raise my arm above my head again, after my second appointment my pain was gone.

As a self employed person, I am forever grateful for his knowledge and honesty. He saved me from at least two years of surgeries and recovery time.

This was my first experience with acupuncture, Steven was very understanding of my pain and very knowledgeable. He worked on my wrist, I had no prior knowledge of acupuncture but I recommend Steven and his practice. Thank you for helping, my wrist feels a lot better just from one session.
