“First time I went... Met a gentleman named James. The kindest, genuinly nice individual you could meet. And his flying ability and knowledge is exceptional. That was the start of an almost 2 year love for the hobby. Everyone has been helpful, friendly and willing to share what they know. Show up on Monday's and learn to fly for free... just bring yourself and the desire to have fun and learn... If I had to change one thing... I wish I would of stopped by much sooner... I can only imagine all the fun times I've missed.”

“This is a FANTASTIC place to fly. The field is nice and long, accommodating for plenty of Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) jets, warbirds, sailplane tows...it's a great field to fly off of. In addition, we have a separate helicopter field to fly at, so there is usually plenty of room to fly your R/C planes, helicopters, and even drones! On Monday nights from mid-March tp end of October, we have instructors that will teach you how to fly on club planes, and it's well worth the time to come out. We have club meetings once a month, either at the field during the summer or at the San Marcos Senior Center in San Marcos, every 3rd Thursday of the month. We love having visitors to the field; Saturday and Sunday mornings are generally the best times to come visit as we have a bunch of people flying just about every kind of plane imaginable.”

The forced move to the new location a few hundred yards from the original location turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Regardless of what time you get there be prepared for a line. They also have the best turkey burger known to man.”

“They have REALLY improved this market! Even has an ice-cream stand! Good selection of fruits and vegetables, huge liquor and wine selection. Staff busy but social. Willing to answer questions and assist with selections. Nice meat/sandwich area in rear. Only draw back is parking! With Nessy Burger, the Rib Shack and Pala Mesa Pizza it’s difficult to find a place to park! Hope they can expand the parking lot!!”
