I recently stayed at this Inn while my house was under repair. The Inn is just across the street from Imperial Beach. I had a room on the top floor and was able to see the waves crashing on the beach and watch the sunset every evening. The Inn is pet friendly but do charge fifty dollars per pet per visit. The Inn can be a bit noisy at times because of the garden area where people sit out on the picnic tables but it didn’t bother us. Also I had a room that is possible to join into the room next to it. I was laying in bed when all of a sudden ? the neighbor in the ajoining room opened my door!!! I was ? shocked!!! I would have appreciated it to be locked before I rented the room! The bedroom light only worked with the fan on which was annoying. The room also could really use a table of some sort. There was a mirror to get ready by but nowhere to put my stuff! The bathroom sink also had no counter to put anything! Just a bit of a inconvenience. This place also charges for parking which I think is unacceptable!! I am handicap and don't have a choice I had to pay and it's very pricey! The room its self was very clean and I loved the location right at the beach. So if these other things don't bother you that much then I'd say it's a good place to stay.
Great location at a decent price. Very nice and polite staff. Nice and quiet if the rooms on either side are empty. Don't touch the snack bar since it's ridiculously overpriced. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Really liked this little hotel! You could see the beach from the living area and hear the waves. Room was a very decent size. The ONLY downside is that it seemed like the place hadn't been swept and the walls are so thin you could hear everything! Woke up to a couple fighting in the room next to us and it sounded like they were in the room with us. Other than that, this has been one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed at. I highly recommend it if you won't be arguing with your loved one ?
Spent three nights here with my family. Super convenient location. Walked to restaurants and beach every day. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were very clean, and parked right in front of our door. I will definitely return to this hotel!
This place is really nice. Staff are ok. I love the big tile floors and the tables and chairs outside. Mainly your close to the beach watching people go by. We had room 213 which was on the second story in the back with ocean views. Room was nice it had a couch, fridge, microwave. I wanted to stay an extra night but they get booked up quick so make a reservation early on. The only thing I didn't like was I had to pay extra for parking and online the price was 167.00 which they said would honor but they charged me 199.00. So book online otherwise they upcharge you. Sand was everywhere but that's what happens when you're at the beach. Overall it was nice.
