Stayed for the weekend with my partner. It rained so we didn’t get to use the deck or hot tub. But we are looking forward to coming back and using them next time. The property is beautiful and secluded. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners communicated excellently during the booking process and left clear directions how to get to the property as well as how to enjoy it. We also saw dozens of wild turkey, 3 deer and lots of different birds visiting the bird feeders right by the window to enjoy watching them while we snuggled on the love seat sipping our coffee. Aptly named the couples cabin. We can’t wait to come back.
This beautifully detailed and outfitted cabin on 13 acres of gentle meadows is a real gem. Staying here brought me so many peaceful moments and surprises, along with a sense of joy, tranquility, and a renewed connection to the rhythms and beauty of the natural environment.
My hosts, Jim and Kelly are a lovely couple. They genuinely care about their guests, and are happy to share their knowledge of this area with them.
I especially enjoyed the many little details, the clearly labeled wall switches, the muted earth colors of the cabin, the quality grooming products, the ambiance of the wrought iron electric fireplace, the very generous supply of coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and cider, the plush white terrycloth bathrobes that are perfect for lounging after enjoying the nearby hot tub, or while gazing at the dark sky filled with stars that look like pools of diamonds.
There are also practical comforts, large flatscreen televisions in both the living room and bedroom, which also has a bed with adjustable controls, and a large selection of spices and seasonings in the kitchen, that is well stocked with an array of utensils, wine and cocktail glasses, and frying pans that encourage creative cooking, or a session at the barbeque grill outside on the deck.
But most of all I enjoyed the ever changing views from the many windows, but especially from the cozy east facing porch, a perfect viewing platform to watch the antics of a wild turkey brood and their amazing and often mingling with a small herd of fearless deer, that have a fondness for poaching apples from the trees, by shaking them to satisfy their cravings.
There are nearby facilities off site that are easily reachable just minutes away, including the historic Dudley's Bakery. Knowing my fondness for exploration, Kelly supplied me with a bright orange safety jacket so I could wander over to Mom's Pies, and the nearby hard cider tasting room, or for some live music at Heroes Pizza, where I met up with some friends.
I highly recommend the Couple's Cabin in Wynola because it offers so much for everyone, in a very safe and loving space.
Very nice and relaxing. She thought of anything we might need. Would definitely stay there agian.
