San Diego River Park Trail, El Monte Valley

This place is absolutely gorgeous. We went here on Saturday for a memorial and the park was very clean. The rangers stationed on sight were phenomenal to work with. Check out the animals they have on site. You will find a roster, owls and hawks. On weekdays you will also find chipmunks and frogs galore. Such a gorgeous park ????

Btw - There is no cell reception here.

It is now snake season. Please be cautious from April-October as rattlesnakes live in this region. Great walking trail, hawks in the sky most days (paragliders too) coyote have been spotted in daylight hours, they are skittish and flee. March 2019 Large Cat Spotted, no HUGE lion spotted in early morning hours. The other walkers and neighbors are very friendly, also in the area is horse riding and a few small farms.
