In Oceanside I don’t think the birria gets any better from a fast food restaurant. They should be by the beach and having higher prices because their food is home made and the cashier and the cool work really hard and she always is very polite! But I know she’s tired because she runs an entire really busy restaurant! I appreciate this restaurant so much for really putting effort into their food!”

“This place just opened in the plaza next to seven eleven on mission. I believe it’s part of a chain of taco fast casual restaurants. There’s plenty of parking in there lot outside and there is also some outside seating set up under a tent. When you walk in there is cool music playing and neon lights by the restroom. You can see the cooks behind a glass wall putting together all the tacos and burritos from fresh ingredients. Their menu is fairly limited but it has all the standards. Also an extensive selection of juices and drinks. I got a Horchata that was really good and it was huge. They do not serve any alcohol . Just juices and bottles of soda. Tacos were all really good and we got them with everything on them. I will say we got the chicken and the carne Asada and both were pretty spicy. I like spicy so I enjoyed them but if you aren’t a spicy person maybe get the salsa on the side. Great addition to the neighborhood. Will be back for sure.”

“Honestly, I had the hardest time going here after Thanksgiving. Website says their open and we go there and it's closest. I really wish they would just update the hours online so we are all on the same page. I came here a second time and it looked like they were getting ready to close but it said they are open until 9pm. I get there it's 745 and guy tells me we'll take one more order we close at 8pm. He knew the house hours were wrong online so why not fix it? Enough of that, let's talk about the food.... it was Onolicious 🤤 1. Fried spam musubi- it was entombed everything I wanted and more. 2. Kalua wontons- delicious. Something that makes so much sense and I don't know why more people don't serve it 3. Loco moco- definitely a must try I feel when going to any Hawaiian restaurant for the 1st time. Highly recommend. 4. Garlic shrimp scampi - it was just what I was looking for. Takes me back to when I was in Hawaii.. just thinking about it is making me drool. 5. Combo kalbi beef and katsu- just like loco moco you gotta try.. Honestly, I don't remember it standing out so I guess it was ok. 6. Highly recommend high shaker lemonade- I had mango with passion fruit..so delicious The food was great and the person who took my order was super nice. Next time I want to try the malasadas... they were sold out this time around.”

“We got a coupon in the mail so I filed it in my coupon envelope cuz you never know when you'll have a KFC 🍗 emergency! Yesterday while out for an errand, I was hankering for some KFC 🐔.... pulled out my coupon and the 9 piece bucket for $15.99 got my attention. So off I went to the nearest KFC in Vista... the first place I went in said we don't have this coupon and told me to go to the KFC in Oceanside. I called before leaving the parking lot and was told they don't have that coupon in their system and the special they have currently is 8 pieces for $21. I wasn't about to give up because now I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon and their locations have no idea what the heck it is! I called another KFC in Oceanside, the 2007 Mission location, and the lady I spoke with told me we don't have that coupon but bring it in and we'll see what we can do. Off I went! When I got there, the young lady I showed the coupon to said let me get my manager. Flora (sp) the manager too said we don't have this coupon in our system. She asked where I got it, I told her I got it in the mail. I also told her I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon but none of the locations that I've been to or called have it in their system.... Long story short, she didn't turn me away! Flora told me what she was willing to do for me and did it! I appreciate the level of customer service and the way she and her staff dealt with me! I came in during dinner time and I wasn't the only one person hankering for some KFC🍗! All three staff were working hard filling orders but never did I feel rushed nor did they make me feel bad for having a mystery coupon! I was so pleased with the exchange I went back to the car to grab some moola for a tip! I got home with my bucket of guilty pleasure to go with my steamed rice and garlic broccoli 🥦 (the things we do to justifya bucket as we get older)!!! Thank you Flora and staff for being kind, for smiling, and working hard to provide fantastic customer service 😋!!!!”

“Christmas Lunch Review: Pad See Ew was decent and I enjoyed it. Noodles were thick and had a good texture. There was just enough flavor for me to find it tasty but I could have appreciated a little more to be honest. The beef noodle soup was quite lack luster with an excess of noodles that seemed to be extremely clumped. We got a 3/10 spice level for a papaya salad and it felt like a 1/10 at best. Everything was quite unremarkable but overall we still enjoyed our lunch. Who knows, we just came back from Thailand so maybe I'm being a little too harsh. Food: 5/10 Service: 5/10 Vibes: 5/10 Value: 5/10”

“Being from Washington state- we don't get many places like this. Open 24 hours. Made to order (wife can't have dairy/gluten). Overall great prices, amazing burritos. The super is two meals in one, it's sooo big. Only "complaint" that one could say is the wait can be a little long. Although, it's cooked to order so I have no problem with that. For those that do for to Taco Bell for fast service. Have patience and it's worth it”
