Harbor Fish & Chips

I visited this restaurant for the first time. I tried the Fish & Chips basket with coleslaw, if you prefer a different side you can select a salad, beans or fries. They offer daily specials and other items like sandwiches and hamburgers. This restaurant makes their own tarter sauce that is delicious. Parking in that area can be a little tricky, once you find a space you will enjoy this restaurant and visiting the other shops.

Nautical and whimsical with throwback decor, very local beach town vibes. Good music too, I was jamming to the tunes and the food. It’s a great option for a hearty meal at Oceanside harbor, but you’ll definitely need to walk it off after. Fast/friendly service. Got their Friday special—coleslaw was flavorful and crunchy, clam shower was creamy and fresh. The fish & chips platter was of course a delicious namesake—the fried shrimp and fish were both crispy and tender, and didn’t feel too oily. Great price for the amount of food and the quality. Don’t forget the condiments corner—a squeeze of lemon juice and some tartar sauce really ties the meal together. Some of the seats are a bit sandy, and parking at the harbor can be hard to find, but it’s more than worth the visit. Check it out if you can!

Definitely a must! The food is great! The cashiers and all the staff were friendly! The view is beautiful and the prices are amazing!
It’s fish and chips place so expect fried oily food, but it’s not every day so definitely try it!
The shrimp is the best and their fried pickles are great, too! Fish is good, and their slaw is great!

This was by far the best fish and chips I have ever had. This place may like questionable but it is amazing and the staff was very kind and quick with the order. They have picnic tables outside right on the harbor so had some great views. Also, forgot to take a picture of the fish and chips but here’s the empty plate to prove it
