We happened to be in town for a long weekend and at the last minute decided to try surfing lessons. Learn to rip surf lessons were so great at finding a time for us and WOW what an amazing experience. John, Russell, and Ryan were fabulous with my kids and they ALL were “surfing” on the first wave! Jenny was behind the scenes and helped coordinate it all and was so easy to work with. They were so great at teaching the kids that we were able to rent surfboards the next day and enjoy the surf on our own. We can’t wait to book another lesson on the next trip to Oceanside for our entire family of five. Each of my kids also wanted to give a one-word shout out review- “Awesome” “Incredible” “Epic”!

Highly recommend! Quick to respond to my inquiry. Was able to get both my kids in for private lessons during our weekend getaway. Great location for beginners. The instructor was amazing and got both my kids up and surfing within 10 minutes of being in the water. They had a blast and can’t wait to surf again. You won’t be disappointed.

This was my second attempt at surfing ever and I stood up for the very first time! John was very knowledgeable and a great guide in the water. I would definitely take another lesson with him, super fun!
