“The atmosphere, presentation and sushi are excellent. The part that was disappointing is the salad with rotten leaves. I understand it can be hard to fish out all the bad leaves of the salad but it is imperative for a restaurant not to serve food that can make someone sick. The cocktail was mediocre to taste, the presentation was much better than the actual content. Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes, for the convenience of the location and a good sushi. Try it once and please share your experience.”

“This was hands down the best massage I have ever had. I just had a wonderful one hour massage with Jessica. I told her about my back problems and she was careful not to massage lower back to hard. She focused on my sacroiliac joint on the right side where I need surgery. Jessica also gave me a soft face massage that was fabulous! Everyone is very polite and the room cool and very clean. “If you’re looking for some great Mexican food, then you should consider Gaby’s Tacos. They are located just off of Oceanside Blvd & Camelot (in the Five Star Smog parking lot) Gaby Tacos is a small family-owned Mexican food truck that’s known for their tacos and quesadillas. BUT, they’re also one of the best spots for tortas and they have great burritos too! I recommend their Cubana torta , shrimp quesadilla , milanesa torta, Marca Diablo Burrito, and anything with al pastor or even their fish tacos with their yummy green sauce. They’ve got a shaded canopy with patio seating in front that can accommodate couples or family groups. They also have heaters to keep warm. The one con to their location is the street traffic noise, but they do have their music playing and it gives off a nice “Cabo street dining” vibe. You’ll also have to use the restroom next door at the Smog Station. They also don’t sell alcohol. But they have excellent Agua Frescas & horchata! I recommend this family business and they even offer catering!”

“After 20 years of suffering with migraines and head/neck pain, I have finally found relief...ALL because of Dr. Dan Haun. I first went in to see Dan for acupuncture back in July. Since then, I've had 12-13 sessions with him (1 as recent as today) and my overall pain has decreased tremendously. He is extremely knowledgeable with more than 30 years of experience. He will listen to you about exactly where you are having pain and will then give you a focused, personalized experience that will result in your pain lessening. He also has great jokes! When I'm in such pain that I'm a 7-8 on a 10 pt scale, by the time I walk out of his office my pain level is down to a 0-1. Yes, seriously. I didn't believe it until I experienced it for myself. My migraines have mostly disappeared and my head/neck range of motion are far better than ever before. He truly has changed my life. “Location was the best. Walking and driving was easy and short to many food, shops and entertainment. Clean large room with lots of space. Needed an additional chair. And 1 lamp would not turn on. However i was to tired to ask for help. Making room a tad dark. It was quiet. Easy and quick access to park. Breakfast was great, check in and out was great. Staff was friendly. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again”

“Visited Cheryl's booth today at a festival in Carlsbad. She was so nice and offered us samples. They were delicious! Chewey, but not sticky. Super creamy. We purchased the Sea Salt Caramels which had just the right balance of salt. The dark chocolate was equally amazing. We'll get that flavor next time. Excellent gourmet candy.”

“My kitchen sink was backed up and wouldn’t drain properly. I tried watching some YouTube videos to rectify the problem myself but was unsuccessful. I tried vinegar and baking soda. I plunged like a mad man and wasted half a bottle of dawn. I waited until the morning to see if it worked and it didn’t. I called Andy at 8:30 and he was over within a hour. He didn’t up the price or pull any shady business tactics like previous plumbers I used. Andy fixed the problem fast and charged me the agreed upon price.”
