Best BBQ I have had in San Diego, and rivals the best I've had in Texas. This is a local family-run joint that keeps that personal vibe. I've been eating their food for years, back before they had the store and were slinging Burnt Ends at local Farmers Markets...and I still stop in every week to get my fix!

Hands-down THE BEST BBQ up-and-down the West Coast! The food is high-quality and the staff was super friendly. I definitely recommend it. We'll be back!

Easily some of the best BBQ I've ever had by a long shot.

The ribs were cooked to perfection and can stand on their own with no BBQ sauce. Adding some sauce takes them over the top in my opinion and adds the right amount of sweet and spice.

The brisket is juicy and almost melts in your mouth. I didn't want to ruin what I would call an amazing mix of smoke and meat and decided no sauce was the way to go with the brisket.

Cajun Fries had the right amount of flavor to them and their in house ketchup was a nice addition that mixed up the flavor. I couldn't decided the best way to eat the fries either way works well.

We also got the baked beans and my dad finished them off himself. So, they must have been good as he finished them off quickly.

Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys BBQ you will not be let down. Staff was extremely friendly, The price is more than fair for this amazing quality of BBQ, and the setting is perfect for a BBQ joint.

Fantastic BBQ! Easily the best I've had in the San Diego area. My personal favorite items were the burnt ends and pork bellies. Will definitely be going back. Fun little area too, nice to walk around after filling up.

First time trying this place out and it was delicious. Ordered half a chicken, the classic sandwich, coleslaw, Chile, Cajun fries and they gave me a few of their sauces. The meat was cooked to perfection. None of it was dried out. Their sauces were really flavorful. Also didn't even wait that long to receive my order. I do suggest going earlier than normal dinner time, they sell fast!
