**Edit** Issue was resolved, I do like the park location and one of the few in the San Diego area that doesn't have ant problems. Would recommend with the reservation that customer service is unduly slow.
I have been a permanent resident for 6 months and am currently out of town. Been trying to get the rent payment app code for 17 days including 3 emails and 7 phone calls. Only one phone call was answered and instead of giving me the code over the phone I was told it would be emailed which of course has not happened.
They get a 2 at this point only because the groundskeepers are friendly and maintain the area well
We stayed for 3 nights in August what a great place, friendly staff everything was clean and worked perfect. They have a little issue with the water but will work it out soon don't let it stop you from visiting we had no trouble with it (I an a water production supervisor). We had the best spot in the park and it was cool and quiet can't wait to come back and stay longer.
Cool little spot not to far of a drive for most in San Diego. The pond was a great spot for all the kids to go fishing. Nightcrawlers seemed to be the best bait, my three kids caught about 100 fish between them over two days (maybe the same ones a few times). Nothing huge, just the right size to get them excited. They also loved hunting for bull frogs at night. And of course everything we fished or caught was quickly released for others to enjoy. Staff was super nice and friendly, bathrooms and showers were some of the nicest I've seen at a campsite in a while.
The only drawback is that yes it is right along the 78 (tent sites are about 100 feet from the road). And one night some a-holes thought it'd be funny to lay on their horns while driving by at 3 in the morning. But, after the first night you get used to it. Just a heads up if you are looking for 100% peace and quiet, you'll have to venture somewhere else.
But overall our family had a great time here, and would definitely go again.
