Arroyo Neuromuscular Integration

I came in with pain in several areas of my body. I am not a young person but I did not want to be in that much pain. My work with and by Louie made the pain go away AND more importantly gave me tools to work with myself integrating my body so it supports itself pain free. I thought I had insight but what I learned from Arroyo Neuromuscular Integration increased my knowledge and gave me so much more. The ten sessions were worth every penny spent. If you have structural pain of any sort, this is the place you want to be. I will continue seeing Arroyo Neuromuscular Integration on a monthly basis now in order to keep things aligned and to continue improvement.

I am extremely pleased with the results of my 10-session series. When I first went in to see Louie I was suffering from injuries, in constant pain and unaware of how I was holding my body. I had more than sore muscles! Using the SI techniques to work in the fascia did more for me than a massage has ever done. Through the series, we were able to properly align my body (my femurs were internally rotated, I waddled vs walked, even my arms were a mess). I saw immediate results after each session. I had years of poor holding patterns and years of pounding my body as a fitness professional... through the series I learned to be aware of what I was feeling, where I was feeling it and why!! My body is in much better shape and I am more conscious of what is happening in my body and I have the tools to make quick corrections.

There is a distinct difference between getting a massage, and the body work done by Louie at PainStop Therapy. Louie helped me better understand what a past injury has done to my body, how I am moving differently, and how I can correct how my body responds to that injury and the pain I am experiencing. Instead of just rubbing the pain away temporarily, Louie gave me knowledge on how to focus on being more consciously aware of my body, and what I can do to help it move properly and pain free.

Louie was absolutely phenomenal! His bio online really made me feel interested in learning about what he does and what was possible for me. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone, he made me feel very comfortable and I could tell that he really cared about my emotional and physical well-being. Upon meeting Louie, my impression was that he was a stellar guy who truly cared about helping me to feel my best in my body. We talked through a lot of emotional patterns as well as physical patterns and I learned about what I needed to do to make myself feel better. He shows you how to breathe properly and how to release that last bit that you’re holding onto in your body and it makes a physical difference! I had such an amazing time and it was way more healing than a therapy session and a massage combined. It was something completely different where you’re not just putting a Band-Aid on your discomfort or pain but actually getting to the root of the issue and working through it. Over the course of the next few days, I have felt absolutely great! The best I’ve felt in a very long time! I intend to come back and I hope to spread the news so that others can enjoy the benefits that Louie can provide as well!

I was so happy when I decided to give Structural Integration a try with Louie. I had been doing massage for years for intense shoulder pain but I would only gain temporary relief after massage. When I decided to give Structural Integration a chance I couldn't have been happier with the results. I signed up for the entire ten series and I am so glad that I did. Louie is very thorough with his work, he is very precise and even if I didn't always understand exactly why he was doing something every time I left his office I felt different, I felt better and I felt LASTING results. Now I only see Louie every couple of months for maintenance work otherwise I am living a pain free life and am so thankful for the new relationship I have with my body.
