  Great dog park on the edge of Balboa park. Wonderful big dogs some medium ones nice owners..Everybody gets along..its amazing!!! Go at 3pm or after cooler for the bow wows????

  Fantastic location near Balboa Park to the puppy to frolic and operate along with other dogs will off the leash. Then walking into the playground with a mellow, tired dog

  My dog is not the social butterfly, and it made me nervous to come here. I had him on a leash. He impressed me so much, he loved the ample space, friendly dogs everywhere was happy to pet them and toss them a ball. It’s clean and despite being a dog park it has a fantastic view of San Diego. I really recommend it here, especially for locals. Sadly I’m not a local so I can’t come as often as a I like

  Nate's Dog Park is a great place to let your pup run around without a leash.
  
  Great location on the Banker's Hill side of the Balboa Park bridge. There is a lot of parking around that area, and it's rare that I can't find a spot.
  
  The park itself is gigantic. Much larger than most dog parks in San Diego. It has a double gate that helps prevent unleashed dogs run out. There is also a water fountain that accommodates people and dogs. Also, poop bag stations make for convenient poop pickup. You'll see an assortment of sizes from tiny Chihuahuas to Mastiffs. It's almost unheard of to see a fight or anything.
