Abiding Place Ministries

My husband and I have been looking for a church in Ramona and nothing has felt right. We were invited to join Abiding Place Ministries. We had a wonderful time. It was exactly what we've been looking for. The pastor had fire and conviction behind his voice and spoke striaght from KJV. It was not a mundane experience like the other churches. Also the music was great and easy to sing along with. And our son loved the nursery. It felt like home, and was a very loving and welcoming environment. We will definitely be coming back for more.

Most amazing and holy spirit filled church! All the leaders of the church are an example and Jesus can truly be seen in them! This is truly a family where the body of christ is represented. Thanks be to this church because I was taken out of darkness into the light! This new life in christ Jesus and I am very thankful to have found this Family!

I had a radical encounter with the creator of the heavens and the earth at the Abiding Place Ministries church. I continue to have encounters every time I go. The presence of God is so wonderful. I do not know of another church that desires to abide in Christ more than this church. The pastor knows and studies the word of God more that anyone I have ever met. If you want to put God first in your life, this is the place for you.

I have been attending Abiding Place Ministries since1999. I have been very blessed by the ministry at this church. Pastor Mark Spitsbergen is a biblical scholar and also a scientist. He is the hardest working Pastor I have ever met. He preaches straight out of the bible, God's Word. Worship time is not a sing along, it is a time where the worship team and the Pastor lead us into the very Throne Room of God. There is such a manifest presence of God during the meeting. The preaching is not only in
word only but in demonstration of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Mark prays for every single person after the message. He is the genuine article. He has written numerous books on the scriptures he translated from the original Greek. He does a daily devotional and he will answer our questions or prayer requests by email or text. He is godly man who lives a life of prayer. He has a genuine love for the flock. He has the most wonderful wife of 37 years, Anne, 4 grown sons and daughters and 10 grandchildren. They all love each other and are serving the Lord in the ministry.
I was very sick when I came to the Abiding Place. I had a team of 14 doctors. I suffered from depression, anxiety, migraine headaches, sinus problems, allergies, back problems, stomach ulcers. The Lord completely healed me of everything.
It is a family church with an amazing Children's Church program as well as Youth Group. There are summer camps for the youth in Oregon and in Campo. The people are genuine and truly care for one another. It was a happy day when I found the Abiding Place. I highly recommend APM. You will be blessed!

I really appreciate the Word of God that is preached at Abiding Place Ministries. The people truly have a heart to know God. This church is where I had my first encounter with the Lord. I have had many encounters since and have experienced many miracles. In addition, I am very thankful for the faithfulness of the pastors as their vision and dedication to missions will reach many souls.
