  I wish this was a secular Montessori program. All good Montessori schools are in Sorrento valley, Santa Luz or Solana Beach.

  Our daughter graduated from Trinity Montessori in spring 2016 and she has now completed first semester at Ocean Air elementary which is a very high performance and demanding environment. As suspected, our daughter was very well prepared both socially and academically. We could not be more happy with the results from Ms. Quan at Trinity Montessori!

  I visited many Montessori schools in the Carmel Valley/Solana Beach area before choosing Trinity Montessori School (TMS) for my two kids to attend. One important aspect I considered is the small teacher:child ratio. Ms. Quan teaches a max of 12 children at the school with the help of a teaching aide, so the staff:child ratio is 6:1. My kids received individualized teaching every day and developed into solid readers by age 4. Because I had taken years off work to raise the kids, I was especially nervous about sending them off to preschool. Ms. Quan quickly allayed any fears as the kids adjusted quickly to preschool due to her caring nature and a day well-balanced with lessons, practical work, music, art, and games.
  
  Foremost, Ms. Quan's love of teaching and of children is what sets her preschool apart from others. She is very attentive and sensitive to each child's needs and creates a secure learning environment. I never worried about my kids' well-being while in her care. I volunteered throughout the year and observed that the class was well-behaved and followed rules well while being engaged in the lessons or play. I remember one creative lesson in which the kids took turns squeezing a small ball through a tube made of fabric to represent food passing through the intestines. I was also impressed at Ms. Quan's efforts to continually improve her school by acquiring new books, games, or play equipment for the kids to enjoy throughout the year.
  
  Her school fosters a close sense of community, and families become good friends. I thank her for giving my kids a solid foundation in education. They are now excelling at Ocean Air school.

  One of our best experiences in early child education! Well-balanced and effective pre-school program that helps children from various personalities/learning styles learn in motor skills, math, reading, writing, speech and Bibilical knowledge.
  Ms. Quan and Ms. Marcy's well-planned program, attention to children's needs and patient love allows kids to flourish in a nurturing and encouraging environment. Our son is usually apprehensive of being without parents in unfamiliar environments, but quickly fell in love with the warm and fun home-based setting at Trinity Montessori School. Every day he looked forward to attending class to learn more and to interact with his classmates. He learned to share, to be kind and to be respectful. Even though he tends to have a hard time focusing in activities and longer sessions, TMS helped him exceed these limitations and grow in all aspects! By the time he finished pre-school, he already knew most of the curriculum taught in most public school 1st grade classes. At the age of 5 he enjoys reading all kinds of books, writes story books and letters and adds/subtracts effortlessly. He often remembers Ms. Quan and Ms. Marc's caring teaching and asks to go back to visit TMS. Thank you TMS for being such a positive impact in such an important stage of our son's life!
