La Nueva Mexican Bakery

Fantastic and fresh

This wasn't our initial stop. Every time we travel we seek out the best donuts in the city. Although a subjective topic, we generally get a good recommendation everywhere we go, and haven't yet been disappointed. However, when we got to our stop the smells coming from La Nueva Mexican Bakery brought us in the door. Holy moley. We come from a town of excellent panaderias and we are picky, but this one was right up there with the sheer diversity of choices, and each one was exceedingly tasty. If you hit up major cities make sure to visit some of the more homely neighborhoods to visit places like La Nueva, I'm making it a point to swing by again the next time I visit San Diego. This time, I'll try the cinnamon coffee with the postres.

Delicious pan dulce and coffee. I love their café de canela.

There bread is amazing, prices are not bad and a good selection.

Lovley people and their barkery donuts are so yummy, not to meantion they are only 60 cents a large donut! what a deal.
