  #1 IN SAN DIEGO. No debate, no questions. There isn’t a ramen joint that is better or does it better. Period. Just be prepared to wait on busy nights and weekends for around 15min-1hr in general. SO. FREAKING. WORTH. IT.

  Absolutely excellent!!! You have to be mindful about how long you're taking to eat because as when you come in there's a lot of people outside waiting, so you just have to be respectful about that. We had an absolutely fantastic dinner we were even waiting for dessert and never got the feeling of being rushed. Just be considerate of the people waiting outside. Loved it???????? I give it Ten Yum,Yums????

  Had to wait a little but it was worth it. Server was really helpful even though it was very busy. The ramen was perfect. Got extra slices of pork which was amazing as well. I've tried a fair share of ramen and this one is top 3 for sure on my list.

  There's a reason they've won a ton of awards. Hands down, best ramen in San Diego. Such amazingly flavorful broth, no added MSG or artificial colors, chewy and robust noodles, expertly cooked meat, and eggs that could make you weep with their deliciousness. Doesn't matter if there's a wait. Go here now.

  One of the best ramen I have ever had. Great flavors and the noodles were as good as advertised. The fried ice cream was a nice way to cap the meal. Wait can get long, but still worth it in my opinion.

Menya Ultra, which is arguably serving the best ramen in San Diego right now, opened a second location last week. Menya Ultra is my go-to ramen spot but I don't visit often because of the long wait times at the original location. This new location has slightly more seating and better parking.
