Update:
After checking this place out I still think it’s a great spot, however I know there’s a lot of homeless in the San Diego area but this area has a heavier concentration and more aggressive homeless people than other places. Once we saw a knife fight break loose very close to where we were paddle boarding we decided to take off. The area is pretty big though so if it’s not too crowded you can probably find better space away from others maybe. Who knows maybe we just had really bad luck this day. -
