(September 1, 2019, 6:08 pm)When looking for a Primary Care doctor, I decided on Oak Park Family Health because of its location. Being right around the corner for me, the appointments are convenient.
I absolutely loved Ria Martin, the PA, that I had on my first appointment. She sat and listened about my current health issues, as well as past problems. She recommended I see one of the regular doctors as I am "medically complex". She did get my referrals out, and I couldn't thank her enough.
My follow up appointment with Dr Shumilak was great too. She listened to my concerns, and got out more referrals for me. I really have a huge hesitation with doctors, and I usually have a hard time finding a doctor/staff that I feel comfortable with.
The nurse that I have had experience with has been a super nice dude and the office staff are nice and helpful as well. The waiting area and the rooms are super clean. I am glad I made my appointment here, and not one of the other offices. -
